For the record: our household had the most disgusting virus

this week, HF&M, and so this is how mom & dad spent their

14th wedding anniversary and Father's Day.  

They just laid on the couch all day and I took care of them, LOL!

Camping 2016

 We first did a trial run/backyard campout and looking

back maybe we should have let Axel sleep outside with us too.

First Weekend in June was our Annual Camping Trip

with the Butchers, Stikes and the Wrathalls.

We brought the dog, which I thought was a big mistake,

the little ones loved the dirt and I ... survived.

The way home was even stinkier than the ride there...

children's barf and stinky dog are just not my thing.

Mom took us out of school for a Discovery Science Cube Field trip.

(We may never forget the winter mice of 2015-2016)

My 10th Birthday

It's my birthday, enjoying my favorite annual snack.

I got to celebrate with my BFF Mikayla.

Aunt Kelly & Uncle Mark hosted a pizza party; 

Natascha had a new topping for us (daddy) to try.

We attempted a Disney day, but only us girls lasted.  

Axel can't believe his "nanny " is only 11!         

    On the weekend we went to Castle Park with some school friends

and my "COOL" mom (yeah, she added that part).

New Family Member

 Mom and dad finally broke down and got Lilli the dog,

now named Smokey, that she had been begging for. 

That is all she wanted for Christmas & all she wanted for her birthday

But we think that Axel is really her closest friend.

Axel Moses Wassink

Although Axel Moses has always been ours 

since we brought him home from the hospital 

on September 16, 2014 it finally became official on January 29, 2016 

the day we had been praying for! He's officially a Wassink.

Mommy Dates

 My Mommy date was going to the Missions in San Diego

I "thought" I would want to listen to the "audio tour".

 I was quickly bored of that!

 Lilli's mommy date was going to Upland Airport and Pieology.

 Bear was brave after going to the doctor,

he is really enjoying his mint chocolate chip!

Yet, the top Mommy Date of 4th grade 

was our 3 day adventure to Sacramento!
