Refreshment

We got away to Newport Beach in February.

Still had to do "distance learning" but the change of

scenery was refreshing.

(Plus we found Bear's new favorite burger at the Shake Shack)

 

A Little Growth

like sister's becoming friends.

Special days, mommy dates & homeschool days

Mommy organized lots of "mommy dates" just to get

(herself) out of the house.  50% were probably to Taco Bell per Lilli. 

My outings mostly consisted of Allergy shots and Starbucks 

(no approved pics).

Best Buddies

Axel had a fun playdate with his best buddy Owen.

Just the encouragement he needed for riding his bike.

This year the boys wanted their own rooms, 

but they hardly ever sleep alone.

Have a brother and always have a friend!

This particular week they took turns sleeping in their 

homemade rocket ship.

 

Happy New Year

For a lot of people 2020 was a hard year and I think everyone was happy to ring in the New Year, 2021! We dropped off care packages to our usual New Year's crew. We played video games and missed our friends.

Got to see some new lights at a drive-thru!

Our favorite part of Christmas was having Auntie Shannie 

drive in from Texas! 

Covid Christmas, some outdoors, some masked,

but still lots of joy!

This year has been full of lots of house projects,

our daddy is SO gifted! 

Mom's favorite was the Swing addition

saying hello to a new fish, 

saying goodbye to friends,

As mama says, it's been "confining refining" 

but we have seen so much good, thanking God.

 

Grandmas

We are so lucky to have 2 fun grandmas (Nana & Lola) 

Silly Lilli (and her 9 mth invisaligns) having fun

playing games with Nana with " Watch Your Mouth".

Lola came over one Saturday and kept admiring daddy's hat,

we finally let her try it on.  Lola is always ready to strike a pose!

 

A-Day, B-Day, Sea-Day

Got to celebrate Axel's 6th birthday at Lola's with cousins.

For Bear's 10th b-day we went to visit his seal friends.

School 2020

I can't believe I have to start high school!?!? Virtual!?!

Some of us were more excited than others.

It feels like "groundhog's day" but I guess mom

has some proof that some learning has occurred.
